Dassault Systèmes reveals the next dimension of product design and manufacturing with Apple Vision Pro
Dassault Systèmes announced 3DLive, a visionOS app integrating Apple Vision Pro with the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, scheduled for summer 2025. Virtual twins from 3DEXPERIENCE will appear life-size in users' physical space with scientifically accurate interaction; Porsche was named as an early trial customer. Dassault also released HomeByMe Reality for interior design and real estate.
Porsche and MHP build virtual shopfloor training on Apple Vision Pro
Porsche AG and consultancy MHP recreated part of the Zuffenhausen production line, including welding robots and rotary tables, as a true-to-CAD 3D training scenario on Apple Vision Pro. Employees can rehearse industrial assembly steps in spatial computing, with detailed repair instructions overlaid on the equipment, as a proof of concept for after-sales and shopfloor vocational training.

Apple's Newsroom highlighted enterprise Vision Pro use cases including KLM Royal Dutch Airlines' Engine Shop maintenance app, Porsche's Race Engineer, NVIDIA Omniverse Cloud APIs, SAP Analytics Cloud, Microsoft 365 with Copilot, Cisco Webex, PTC's Onshape Vision, and Taqtile Manifest. Apple also announced the Enterprise Spatial Design Lab; Deloitte Digital concurrently launched a dedicated visionOS practice with one-week instructor-led courses.
Porsche shows Race Engineer app for Apple Vision Pro at Taycan Turbo GT launch
At the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT launch event, Porsche CEO Oliver Blume demonstrated and Apple CEO Tim Cook endorsed a custom Apple Vision Pro Race Engineer cockpit app. The app displays live telemetry (speed, braking, battery), driver-facing camera angles, and TV coverage from the racetrack in a spatial cockpit.
