Developer Grant Hinkson has shared the development challenges of bringing "Connectome: A Game of Points" from Meta Quest to Apple Vision Pro. Due to compatibility issues between the Unity library "Shapes" and PolySpatial (the default toolkit for visionOS), he had to switch rendering modes to Metal. This workaround broke the native eye-tracking hover effects, requiring custom bridges and post-build patchers to restore functionality.
